“KEEKS” KYRSTIN DRANEY RD, LDN
Kyrstin (aka “Keeks”) is an integrative and functional dietitian who helps others love and eat food in a way that helps their health blossom. After overcoming her own trials with a diet-related illness, she realized how important a full-body approach was in the pursuit to finding long-lasting health. Kyrstin enjoys using her skills to help others overcome autoimmune disorders, improve gut health, and create a healthier connection with food. Kyrstin specializes in helping those specifically with Hashimoto’s and IBS-C/D. She is proficient in reading and creating protocols with Diagnostic Lab’s Solution’s GI Map.
Kyrstin has been working in the healthcare industry since 2014, after completing her degree in nutrition and foods with a focus in dietetics at Appalachian State University followed by her dietetic internship through Meredith College. She has experiences working one-on-one with patients through Telehealth, and within Duke systems, as both a clinical and outpatient dietitian, teaching nutrition classes and programs throughout North Carolina and nationwide. Currently Kyrstin is not accepting new patients, but mentors the k+c RDs and interns in order to fortify the practice’s ability to help you eat, live and flourish. If you’re interested in learning from Keeks, though, she still teaches most of the k+c programs that you can enroll in here!
When she’s not in her kitchen cooking up something delicious and nutritious, or babbling about the gut microbiome, you can find Keeks snuggled up with her two Tuxedo kitties, Ryce and Bean, or spending quality time with her bearded husband, Billy and three amazing kiddos, Jackson, Kaleb and Linden Blye.
